DY USA is proud to announce our colleague, Xiping (David) Qiu, has earned the U.S. International Tax Certificate, a comprehensive learning program that helps global finance and accounting professionals navigate the highly complex world of international taxation.
Offered by the American Institute of CPAs ® (AICPA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants ® (CIMA) and developed in partnership with Grant Thornton, this self-study online certificate program is valuable to professionals who need to understand the complexities of international taxation.
David invested more than 50 hours in the three-part series online course to master the essential principles and concepts while building and applying knowledge of complex topics. The program is geared towards senior level professionals in public accounting who assist clients identify and address tax implications of their global operations and ensure compliance with applicable regulations within relevant jurisdictions and globally. This certification provides David additional knowledge and skills from both the perspective of the owner and senior accountant as he fulfills his consultative role with DY USA clients.
David’s background in engineering and accounting equips him with a multi-faceted analytical approach to his practice that focuses on advising small to medium-sized businesses. He specializes in tax planning and preparation, business consultation and financial reporting for startup and established UK companies with US-UK operations.

David graduated with a bachelor of engineering degree from Tsinghua University of China in July 1994. He came to the US in 2006, earned his MBA and Master of Accountancy degrees from Bowling Green State University in 2009, and received his CPA license in 2011.
