DY USA is pleased to announce the Small Business Council of America (SBCA) has presented Christy Woskobjnik its Connie Murdoch Award. The SBCA acts as a voice in Washington, DC for small businesses and constantly works to simplify the federal tax and employee benefit laws and regulations that affect them.
Presented at the SBCA’s 41st Annual Congressional Awards Reception at the US Capitol, this award commemorates Connie Murdoch who died in 1985 and was one of the country’s leading tax attorneys who dedicated his time and expertise on a voluntary basis to the SBCA. The award is presented to a SBCA member in recognition of his or her outstanding leadership, dedication, and achievement on behalf of the organization during the prior year. Christy has been a SBCA member for nine years and currently serves on its Executive Board of Directors.
“I am honored to receive this prestigious recognition from my peers at the SBCA who work tirelessly to represent small and privately-owned businesses at the federal legislative level,” said Christy. “My fellow SBCA members are not only my peers, but my friends and have been mentors for the past nine years. I look forward to being part of the many great things that the SBCA will accomplish in the future!”
