Open Positions

Senior / Manager level tax professionals

Dyke Yaxley LLC (“DY USA”) is a fast growing international tax and business advisory firm with offices on both sides of the Atlantic, located in the US and the UK. We are uniquely positioned to understand the opportunities, challenges and rising costs facing companies with international operations from a holistic perspective, as well as address the complexity of planning and preparing taxes for individuals living and working abroad. Our entrepreneurial, team-oriented culture fosters the success and well-being of each individual personally and professionally while emphasizing an appreciation for diversity. DY USA’s success is driven by achieving results for our clients, providing high quality client service and showing gratitude to [or recognizing] team members for their contributions - not based on the number of hours billed.

DY USA is looking to hire international tax seniors / managers who possess a results-driven work ethic as well as the desire to coach our small business clients on big decisions during their US expansion. This team-oriented professional is motivated, eager to directly interact and consult with business entrepreneurs and their management teams, and manage a portfolio of clients while providing a high level of client service and meeting their required tax compliance needs.

DY USA’s core values of trust and transparency, keeping things simple in a complex world, keeping things personal, embracing a healthy work life integration, and being better than yesterday guide how we operate our business and approach our relationships, both internally and externally.

Essential responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review business tax returns.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and develop trusted and transparent relationships with clients across time zones.
  • Manage multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously while working independently or within a group environment and possess a team-focused and big picture mentality.
  • Professional presence, client service skills and ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements.
  • Support, train and mentor reporting staff to ensure quality of work and process efficiencies.
  • Contribute to and foster DY USA’s core values.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA or CPA candidate with at a minimum of 2 years experience in public accounting with an emphasis on tax or private industry accounting experience.
  • International experience is a plus, but not required. Your genuine interest in engaging and interacting with transatlantic clients new to the US tax system and business startup issues is more important to us.
  • High energy, organized and self-motivated personality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain technical US tax concepts and solutions to international business owners and staff.
  • Strong use of technology including Excel, Office, Zoom and tax preparation software.

DY USA’s unique work environment offers the qualities associated with a small firm blended with large firm benefits:

  • No overtime during busy season. Work 40 hours per week throughout the year.
  • Remote and flexible work schedule options. We are striving towards reaching a four-day work week.
  • Competitive salary and benefits offered.
  • We offer more than the typical paid time off and don’t allow you to work while you are on vacation. We know our team gives 100% while on the clock working and believe they deserve to focus 100% on themselves and their families when they take personal time.
  • Professional development and personal wellbeing opportunities available. For additional information, visit our CAREERS page.
  • Opportunity to work in an entrepreneurial environment that is growing, continuously improving firm operations, embraces the value of and new perspectives created by diversity within our firm (six countries are represented by our current team of 14), and recognizes the importance of accountability to self and the team.
  • DY USA’s investment in its people in non-traditional development and holistic programs is unusual for a smaller firm. Team members are offered opportunities, to select from at their own discretion, to learn and improve themselves beyond technical topics.
  • Opportunity to travel to interact with UK-based colleagues and clients as well as for training purposes and biannual team-building programs (alternating between Cleveland, Ohio and Shrewsbury, UK).
  • Maintain a paperless, sustainable environment and the seamless electronic management of projects between the US and UK.
