Monika’s drive to advance her education and career opportunities led her to relocate from Romania to Hungary at a young age, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant and gained several years of experience in an accounting practice. Her commitment to continuous growth aligns with DY USA’s Core Value Be Better Than Yesterday.
Monika applies her attention to detail, analytical thinking and keen organisational skills when assisting with the preparation of US and UK personal tax returns at DY USA. She also brings more than 10 years of experience helping individuals navigate UK personal tax returns, UK payroll matters, VAT and bookkeeping using Xero and QuickBooks.
Monika’s love of travel and her goal to strengthen her English fluency led her to move to the UK to advance her career. She completed the AAT Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting and became a Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (MAAT). Her latest accomplishment is gaining full qualification and becoming a member of The Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT).
Monika is a proud mum, energetic gardener, creative crafter and yoga enthusiast. She enjoys camping and exploring the outdoors with her family. Committed to lifelong learning, she is always setting new personal and professional goals to grow and improve.
