Julie’s background as a CFO and Controller for a mid-market manufacturer gives her a practical, real-world understanding of the operational and financial issues business owners face. With 25+ years of experience advising U.S. entrepreneurs, including nearly a decade supporting UK business owners, Julie helps clients navigate complex tax and business challenges with clarity and confidence. She works with businesses at every stage, from launch and growth to succession planning, sale or wind-down. Julie’s focus is always the same: helping business owners solve today’s challenges while planning effectively for tomorrow.
Julie supports business owners with a broad scope of need from setting up accounting systems and reviewing GAAP financials to navigating US payroll setup, E2-visa needs and incentive compensation planning. She also guides clients through retirement planning options, Social Security decisions and advanced owner-compensation strategies. Her technical depth includes identifying tax savings through R&D credits, accelerated depreciation and cost-segregation opportunities.
As Director of Business Services, Julie manages and develops the Business Services team and oversees firmwide process improvements to ensure a seamless, high-quality client experience. She also leads DY USA’s expanding recruiting efforts.
Julie earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Miami University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and National Social Security Advisor and a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs.
Born and raised in northeast Ohio, Julie is a proud mother of twin daughters and lifelong loyal Cleveland Browns fan. She enjoys reading the latest bestseller, line dancing and doing yoga in her free time.
