Christina (Christy) A. Woskobojnik
As a former controller, Christy provides Dyke Yaxley clients with a comprehensive perspective on their tax and operational matters. She applies a consultative approach to help clients grow or setup their U.S. divisions, navigate through operational challenges, and implement systems and processes that address a variety of functional issues including sales tax and other state level nexus matters, payroll and payroll taxation, financial statement development, and operational suggestions. As an Enrolled Agent with the IRS, Christy performs tax preparation and also liaises with the IRS on behalf of Dyke Yaxley’s clients. Christy also assists her clients in managing their day-to-day accounting-related matters and ongoing filing requirements by providing on-site and remote training programs.
Christy brings more than 20 years of experience with privately-held companies in the professional services, transportation, and manufacturing industries. Her roles at these organizations have given her the unique skillset of being able to identify issues and provide practical solutions across functional departments as they apply to the financial management of the company. In addition, Christy completed the 10-month Cleveland State University Global Target Program, which matches companies with a mentor company to help implement exporting best practices and teaches a variety of relevant topics including international logistics, compliance, country selection, and customs.
She currently serves as a Trustee of the Loxley Purse, which is a foundation of the British American Chamber of Commerce that provides scholarship money to students in the Cleveland area to study abroad in England. She also serves Chair of the British Cultural Garden Association, serving as a delegate to the Cleveland Cultural Garden Federation. Christy has also served 9 years on the Board of Directors for Neighborhood Family Practice, serving as their chair of the annual fundraising event, and she also sits on the board of the Small Business Council of America, which is a national organization whose purpose is to represent the interests and concerns of privately held businesses on federal tax, retirement, pension, health care and other employee benefit concerns.
A native Michigander, Christy enjoys traveling, wine, and following a range of sports in her spare time.
