Nur brings a unique global perspective to her work, having immigrated to the US from Turkey more than a decade ago. Nur partners closely with business owners and their teams to help them navigate US business tax planning and compliance with confidence. She takes a proactive, consultative approach by regularly monitoring client activity, anticipating changes, and addressing questions as they arise to ensure clients stay compliant and well-informed.
As a detail-oriented, focused, and determined accounting professional, Nur enjoys finding solutions to challenging projects. Her analytical mindset helps her to effectively review, organize, and interpret complex tax information.
Nur’s clear communication and approachable style are key attributes she contributes to her client relationships. She takes the time to fully understand and identify each client’s needs and collaborates with colleagues as needed to deliver accurate, practical guidance, explained in a clear, non-technical manner.
Nur earned her bachelor’s degree from Gazi University in Turkey and her master’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University. She is a licensed Michigan CPA and a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA).
Outside of work, Nur values spending time with her family, enjoys domestic and international travel, and combines both passions by spending summers in Turkey with her extended family.
