Christy Woskobojnik Participates on BABC-Sponsored Panel Focused on Setting Up a Business in the US 

CLEVELAND, OH (June 13, 2018) —Christy Woskobojnik, Tax Manager at Dyke Yaxley LLC, participated on a panel discussion sponsored by the British-American Business Council, in conjunction with the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, focusing on small business entrance into the US market. The program consisted of a three-stop road show in the United Kingdom, one being in Birmingham.

The morning networking event included presentations and panel discussions by a representative from the US Department of Commerce from Washington, DC, and the European-stationed economic development managers from US states including Illinois, Kentucky, Georgia, Iowa and Pennsylvania.  The program was moderated by John Simmons, Counselor for Commercial Affairs, US Embassy in London.

The interactive discussion focused on how to set up a business entity in the US, what it means if you do business in multiple states within the US, cross border taxation, healthcare, banking, cultural changes, immigration issues and visa issues. 

Christy brings more than 20 years of experience with privately-held companies in the professional services, transportation, and manufacturing industries. Her roles at these organizations have given her the unique skillset of being able to identify issues and provide practical solutions across functional departments as they apply to the financial management of the company.
